TREATMENTS WE OFFER

VNUS CLOSURE FAST TREATMENT FOR VARICOSE VEINS
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. Using ultrasound, your physician will position the Closure catheter into the diseased vein through a small opening in the skin. The tiny catheter powered by radio-frequency(RF) energy delivers heat to the vein wall. As the thermal energy is delivered , the vein wall shrinks and the vein is sealed closed. Once the diseased vein is closed, blood is re-routed to other healthy veins.
Following the procedure, a simple bandage is placed over the insertion site, and additional compression will be provided to aid healing. Your doctor may encourage you to walk, and to refrain from extended standing and strenuous activities for a period of time.  The VNUS Closure FAST procedure will be performed by our VNUS certified Vascular Surgeon. SCLEROTHERAPY TREATMENT FOR SPIDER VEINS
Sclerotherapy is the Gold Standard for treating spider veins. The procedure involves an injection of a solution directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to swell and stick together. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. The number of veins injected in one session varies, depends on the size and location of the veins, as well as the general medical condition of the patient. Studies have shown that as many as 80% of injected veins may be eliminated with each session of sclerotherapy. In general, spider veins respond in three to six weeks, and larger veins respond in three to four months. If the veins respond to the treatment, they will not reappear. The sclerotherapy procedure will be performed by a doctor certified in Florida to perform advanced sclerotherapy.
